A RESOLUTION HONORING
CAM HILL
FOR SERVICE
TO THE TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL
WHEREAS, Charles Cameron Hill served the Town of Chapel Hill as a Town Council Member from December 3, 2003, to December 3, 2007; and
WHEREAS, Cam is a native son of Chapel Hill and has therefore provided the Town and the Council with insight and perspective that it otherwise would not have had; and
WHEREAS, Cam is a dedicated and loving father to his three children, Mac, Cam and Tyler; and
WHEREAS, Cam has spent many long hours teaching and coaching the children of Chapel Hill and Orange County; and
WHEREAS; Cam has contributed to the character of Chapel Hill in countless ways, including through his work as a builder by restoring historic homes and his work as a business person, such as in the establishment of Crook’s Corner; and
WHEREAS, Cam served the community and the Council through his active participation on the following committees and work groups, lending his creative energy and thoughtful ideas, and often volunteering to serve as a committee’s leader:

WHEREAS, Cam’s entertaining sense of humor, fun-loving spirit, keen observations about people and situations, precise analysis of budgets, and willingness to speak his mind openly and usually with a few well-placed words, has been invaluable to the Council; his fellow Council Members, along with citizens and employees will miss Cam.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that we hereby honor and thank
for his outstanding service to the people of Chapel Hill and his willingness to serve the community as an elected leader; and we further resolve that Chapel Hill is a better place because of Cam.
